POSITION SUMMARY:
The Systems Configuration Specialist supports the configuration management of many enterprise court applications, as well as maintains all configuration values across application environments in the following phases: Development, Test, Production Support, and Production. In addition, leads a team of specialist to accomplish project goals. 

Essential functions of the position include, Quality Control for enforcing and helping to maintain a standard set of database configuration settings across environments for our enterprise court applications; reviews new build scripts for issues affecting configuration prior to deployment; Acts as 3rd level support to troubleshoot and resolves issues that stem from configurations settings or data cleanup script requests; interfaces and coordinates with internal/external teams to share/insure configuration values are properly set. This position will help perform root cause analysis of issues reported by running SQL scripts to identify patterns and follow up with analyst when bugs should be filed as result of the review. Will help create basic SQL scripts to correct data that cannot be corrected via the UI and work with development on more complex scripts; Will coach other analysts to ensure root cause analysis is being performed and documented in TFS. Responsible for reviewing all script requests prior to assigning to development along with the coordination of test and development database refreshes

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related field and at least five years related experience.  Equivalent work experience may substitute for degree. Strong detail orientation, technical writing, and trouble shooting skills, demonstrated ability to analyze problems and identify root causes as it relates to configuration, and to efficiently manage configuration of multiple applications simultaneously quickly and effectively. This position also requires excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and take initiative in self-development.

 

The preferred candidate will strong knowledge of court processes and related technology.
