ADEQ Business and Finance is looking for a dynamic, talented, and experienced Executive Administrative Assistant with strong organizational and communication skills with technical savvy to help our team continue its data transformation. The Executive Assistant will report to the Chief Financial Officer, supporting and potentially leading various projects as well as providing Google Sites and data governance administrative support for the entire team. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting in daily operations, reporting and project management for the Business and Finance team, organizing electronic and paper files, managing electronic reporting tools and metrics, managing the teams Google Sites pages, developing and delivering training. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, detail oriented, possess excellent communication and organization skills, be willing to jump in to assist when needed, able to multi-task and be highly professional.
This position works and communicates with all levels of the agency leadership and interfaces with external government entities both in and outside of state government. The Business and Finance team supports our agency with the goal of maximizing availability and utilization of financial resources for mission work.
• Skilled in a strong organizational skills, polished verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and document training materials and present them.
• Skilled and highly motivated with strong work ethic, skilled in time management.
• Able to successfully manage multiple ongoing tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to support customer and have a mission focused mindset.
• 3-5 years of experience in supporting senior leadership in a technical or information environment.
• Must have experience in Google Suite, particularly Sites to manage internal site.
• Must have advanced skills in Excel and be technically savvy to quickly learn to work in various platforms.
• Data governance and change control experience, including file and data management preferred.
• Project management experience including coordinating diverse teams preferred.
