POSITION SUMMARY:
The Information Technology Division of the Arizona Supreme Court is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This position provides technical assistance to users through the use of remote technology, in-person and via telephone concerning computer hardware, software, printers, and other peripheral hardware.
This position is also responsible for the set-up of equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems and appropriate software; assists in the deployment of mass software or hardware upgrades or installation; applies and adheres to established computer and data security procedures; and evaluates prototype software and hardware. In addition, this position conducts training for other personnel or customers; communicates and documents technical information; and interacts with a wide variety of customers, team members, management and other court employees.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree plus five years’ experience. Directly related experience may substitute for the degree requirement. This position also requires knowledge of Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Manager; extensive knowledge and understanding of computer networking technology, computer science, hardware and software installation and configuration, systems development, implementation and project management methodologies and OS. In addition, this position requires the ability to multi-task; quickly and effectively analyze software and hardware problems and implement solutions; establish productive working relationships with diverse customer groups, team members, management, and other staff; and be a strong oral and written communicator. A valid driver’s license is required based on the travel requirements for this position.
The preferred candidate will have knowledge of the Arizona Judicial Branch; knowledge of industry specific software applications; and/or experience with Office 365 and cloud-based technology,
Travel level: may be up to 90%.
