The Department of Economic Security, Division of Business Services (DBS), Office of Professional Development (OPD), in support of the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Training Supervisor. DDD empowers individuals with developmental disabilities to lead self-directed, healthy and meaningful lives. This position focuses on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to lead healthy, self-determined, and meaningful lives integrated within their communities by leading a team of instructional designers who plan, design, develop, and maintain training courses in a variety of media formats for all DDD employees.
Under general direction, the Training Supervisor is responsible for the design and direction of a comprehensive employee development program and for the design and direction of the training program for DDD employees; and performs related work as required. This position manages all aspects of developing division training and other employee development activities including supervising unit employees, developing and managing training projects, coordinating with business partners and customers, both internal and external, to meet organizational training needs, while implementing instructional design and delivery. The successful candidate will also be responsible for auditing and evaluating training to ensure standards are adhered to and outcomes are achieved, coaching other training staff as well as program management staff on training design and delivery, producing reports including training compliance reports, managing training-related technology such as computer-based training (CBTs) tools, while serving on or leading committees and teams with impact to all parts of the division and the department.
This position will work in a hybrid arrangement with between one and three days of in-office attendance required at the address listed above, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
